"...The ideas that I wanted to convey includes my educational background; my interest in the arts, and my past travels. I wanted to indicate my hedonistic lifestyle, so a humidor hygrometer was included. I was also very interested in wines and liqueurs, so I regretted very much that the painting did not include this element. I must admit that I noticed the omission after the painting was almost completed, but nevertheless, I was disappointed that the artist was not able to include at least a wine cork. I am still thinking about how to persuade the artist to include this component in the painting. Perhaps it would be better if I did it myself. ... "
